May I propose to organise events online? You may propose to organise translation-focused events online, such as online lectures, webinars or competitions. In your application, please indicate how you intend to organize the event and the logistics involved. General Questions What is the Community-in-Translation Events Grant (CiTEG)? The Community-in-Translation Events Grant (CiTEG) provides funding support for community-driven events with a strong translation element. Interested applicants can submit applications for funding to defray expenses in organising translation-focused events featuring English, Chinese, Malay and/or Tamil. These events can include but are not limited to: Competitions Exhibitions Seminars Talks Workshops Any other translation-focused activities How will applications be assessed? Applications will be assessed based on the relevance, impact, outreach, publicity and cost-effectiveness and proposed implementation of the event, as well as the track record of the applicant (individual/ organisation). The event should have a strong translation element and contribute to promoting or raising translation standards in Singapore. To facilitate assessment, please ensure that the information provided is complete and accurate. Can I expect to receive full funding for my application? The approved amount of funding for each application will depend on the evaluation outcome and recommendation put forth by the CiTEG Evaluation Panel, as well as the availability of funds.
