The National Library Board organises a range of programmes for teens, with the aim to promote a culture of reading among young people. Through the suite of customised programmes and activities in the READ@School initiative, NLB reaches out specifically to students aged 7 – 17 years and their teachers in schools. The fun-filled activities introduce students to diverse reading materials and make use of peer encouragement to promote reading. These are supported by discoveReads, an interactive online reading portal designed to encourage students to connect with one another over their love for books.
