Minister Yaacob Ibrahim attends Rapsodi in Brunei Darussalam

     The Minister for Communications and Information, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, will visit Brunei Darussalam from 15 to 16 November 2014 to attend Rapsodi together with the Bruneian Minister of Energy in the Prime Minister’s Office, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Setia (Dr) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar. 

2          Rapsodi, an annual gala variety show produced by Radio Televisyen Brunei and Mediacorp’s Suria, will feature talented artists from both countries. Rapsodi is produced under the auspices of the Singapore-Brunei Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Co-operation in the Field of Broadcasting and Information.  It will be shown “live” on 15 November 2014 at 8:30pm on Suria.

3          Dr Yaacob will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information, Media Development Authority and MediaCorp.  The officials will be meeting their Bruneian counterparts on 14 and 15 November 2014 at the annual Joint Technical Committee Meeting to discuss ways to further bilateral cooperation in the fields of broadcasting and information.
